# Lead GeneratorRegion: South EastLocation: Tunbridge WellsJob reference: ANEE01851## Key Responsibilities• Lead Generation Proactively identify and qualify potential new business opportunities across commercial and personal insurance, as well as financial services, through outbound calls, emails, networking, referrals, and local canvassing. • Networking & Community Engagement Represent the agency at local business networking events, trade shows, agricultural and sector-specific events, and community functions to raise brand awareness and generate leads. • Event Support & Participation Actively support the delivery of agency-led marketing campaigns and events. This includes pre-event outreach, event attendance, follow-up activity, and lead reporting. • Relationship Building Build strong working relationships with local businesses, groups, and stakeholders to help develop long-term lead opportunities and referrals. • Marketing Alignment Work closely with the marketing team to help shape and implement lead-generation campaigns. Share market insights and feedback to inform future activity. • CRM & Data Management Record and track lead activity using internal CRM tools and processes. Ensure all interactions are accurately captured and followed up in a timely and professional manner. • Cross-Selling Opportunities Identify cross-sell and referral opportunities for insurance, financial services, risk management and health & safety consultancy, passing qualified leads to the relevant sales advisors. • Support Sales Campaigns Contribute to seasonal and sector-specific campaigns with lead generation, outreach, and presence at promotional events. • Compliance & Conduct Ensure all activity is undertaken in a compliant, customer-centric way, acting in line with FCA principles and NFU Mutual’s internal policies. **About you:** **Essential:** • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Confidence in approaching and speaking with new people • Energetic, self-motivated, and proactive mindset • Ability to organise and manage your own workload effectively • Commercial awareness and interest in local business sectors • Strong attention to detail in logging and qualifying leads • Collaborative approach and team-oriented attitude • Professional and positive attitude, acting as a brand ambassador **Desirable:** • Experience in sales, telemarketing, events, or customer-facing roles • Understanding of general insurance and/or financial services sectors • Experience with CRM systems or lead-tracking tools • Local market knowledge and existing networking contacts **Performance Expectations** • Volume and quality of leads generated • Conversion rates from lead to opportunity • Engagement and participation in events and networking • Contribution to marketing campaign outcomes • Adherence to compliance and conduct standards## Our commitment to you• A supportive and friendly working environment • Full Training & Development will be provided which includes technical knowledge, Sales soft skills with the opportunity of a funded CERT CII qualification. **Benefits** • 25 days holiday plus bank holiday (after 4 years’ service an additional day a year up to a maximum of 5 days).
