We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team in Wakefield to work on a variety of Industrial, Logistics, Commercial and Residential projects. What You’ll Do Work on a variety of projects in Yorkshire reporting directly to the Commercial Manager. Provide commercial support to project teams with a mix of office and site‑based work. Ensure that projects are administered effectively and that the business objectives – including commercial targets and customer focus – are achieved. Skills and Experience Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor working for a Main Contractor. Familiarity with JCT/NEC/other forms of contract. Knowledge of current Construction Law. Experience in commercial management. Experience in procurement of subcontractors, measurement and control cycle, certificates and accruals calculations. Good knowledge of monthly reporting and earned value analysis. Personal Attributes Ability to work in a team environment contributing across the business unit. Good management skills. Ability to motivate self and colleagues to achieve high standards of compliance. Good operational planning and time management skills.
