Role Overview Experienced coatings/adhesives formulation chemist looking to further develop their career at a well‑established chemical distributor in the West Midlands. Title: Innovation Manager – CASELocation: West MidlandsSalary: £50,000 – £60,000 (dependent on experience) + benefitsTerm: Permanent Benefits Bonus scheme, private healthcare, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension scheme, and a 37.5 hour working week Monday‑Friday. Lots of potential to develop customer and supplier‑facing experience across the CASE market in a supportive and inclusive environment. Responsibilities Managing a wide range of formulation projects – both customer and supplier focused Identifying the USPs of a variety of supplier raw materials (amines, epoxy resins, adhesion promoters, defoamers, curing agents, etc.) Formulating coatings, adhesives, sealants and elastomer products Demonstrating innovation to best showcase raw materials in finished formulations Attending customer and supplier visits to provide technical expertise alongside the sales team Travelling throughout the UK to visit customer and supplier sites Keeping abreast of product development and trends in the CASE market Requirements Direct, recent experience of formulating coatings or adhesives for technical and bespoke applications Experience providing technical support to customers, remotely or via on‑site meetings Degree‑level qualification (or equivalent) in Chemistry or a closely related subject Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Willingness to travel across the UK to visit customer and supplier sites Full, clean UK driving licence A proactive approach and drive to deliver exceptional customer service How to Apply If you would like to apply for this position, please contact the recruitment team via the client portal or email your CV to the provided contact details. #J-18808-Ljbffr
