As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while demonstrating exceptional customer service and communication. This role requires both carrying a firearm and driving as part of your daily responsibilities. At Allied Universal, we value agility, reliability, and innovation, and our team-oriented culture puts people first while always acting with integrity.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $22.00 / HourJob Schedule:DayTime • Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM • Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM • Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM • Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM • Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWhy Join UsSmart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.What You'll DoProvide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the assigned government location and its perimeter, maintaining a visible presence to help deter unauthorized activity.Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verifying credentials and granting access as appropriate.Document observations, incidents, and activities in detailed reports for review by Allied Universal and client management.Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary, supporting incident resolution and/or response efforts.Remain alert to unusual activities or conditions and report concerns promptly to supervisors or designated contacts.Participate in ongoing training and drills to stay current with security-related procedures and emergency response protocols.Minimum RequirementsA valid concealed carry weapons permit is required.A minimum of one year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, and/or military is required.Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
