**Job Description: Banksman & SIA Licensed Security Officer**
**Location**: W Hotel
**Position Type**: Full-Time/Part-Time

**Role Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Banksman Duties**:

- Direct and oversee vehicle movements in and out of the W Hotel's designated areas to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with drivers to avoid accidents and ensure compliance with site-specific protocols.
- Maintain clear pathways and manage parking areas to prevent congestion.
- Adhere to health and safety standards, reporting any hazards or incidents promptly.

**Security Duties**:

- Monitor and secure the premises, providing a visible security presence to deter potential risks.
- Conduct regular patrols and inspections of the property to identify and address security concerns.
- Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, and alarms.
- Work closely with hotel staff to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for guests.
- Manage access control, including verifying identification and overseeing guest and staff entry.

**Requirements**:

- **Valid Banksman Certificate** (or willingness to obtain before starting).
- **Valid SIA License** (or willingness to obtain before starting).
- Proven experience in security or a similar role is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to Banksman and security duties.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working in a luxury or high-profile setting.
- Team-oriented with a professional and customer-focused demeanor.

**How to Apply**:
Pay: £13.00-£16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 48 per week

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- Night shift
