Job Summary London Ambulance Service (LAS) is looking for a new Chief People Officer to join our Board at an exciting time in our journey of improvement and transformation. We are seeking a Chief People Officer who will play a lead role in shaping a thriving, inclusive, and high‑performing workforce that delivers outstanding care to Londoners every day. Main Duties of the Job As the only pan‑London NHS provider, we respond to more 999 and 111 calls than any other ambulance service in the country, caring for thousands of Londoners every day. Our ambition is simple: to deliver outstanding emergency and urgent care whenever and wherever it is needed. As a future NHS leader, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate that they meet the NHS leadership competency framework for board members (see the candidate information pack below for the six domains). About Us We respond to more 999 and 111 calls than any other ambulance service in the country, and operate a number of specialist teams to provide tailored care to people's needs – this includes our joint community response teams who care for frail older people in their homes.
