This role combines business development and account management, ensuring both the acquisition of new accounts and the successful adoption and expansion of Heartflow's non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostic technology in existing accounts. The position is home-based with regular travel (60%-80%) across the region to customer sites, events, and meetings.Key ResponsibilitiesSales DevelopmentProspect, engage, and close new accounts across the assigned geography (North West England, Scotland, and Ireland).Build a robust pipeline and manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract.Develop and execute regional sales strategies to expand Heartflow's footprint in NHS and private healthcare systems.Account ManagementDrive adoption and utilization of Heartflow's FFRct and cCTA pathway within key accounts.Build and maintain long-term relationships with Interventional Cardiologists, Cardiologists, Radiologists, Primary Care Physicians, and other clinical stakeholders.Proactively support, educate, and provide solutions to ensure clinical success and customer satisfaction.Promote Heartflow's value proposition and foster advocacy across hospitals and health systems in the territory.Collaboration & Programme SupportPartner with internal colleagues (Marketing, Market Access, CT Applications Specialists, Implementation Managers, Clinical, and Product Development) to deliver excellent customer service.Organise and contribute to educational programmes such as dinner events, CT pathway workshops, VIP visits, and referring physician meetings.Collect and share "voice of customer" insights to guide product development and market strategy.Targets & PerformanceMeet or exceed territory sales and adoption targets.Deliver measurable growth in cCTA usage and FFRct penetration across accounts in England, Scotland, and Ireland.Maintain accurate reporting, forecasting, and account plans via Salesforce (or equivalent CRM).Skills & CompetenciesProven track record of sales success in healthcare, ideally in cardiology, cardiovascular diagnostics, or radiology.Strong experience introducing and growing adoption of new technologies in NHS hospitals and/or private healthcare systems.Ability to develop and support clinical programmes and pathways.Skilled communicator with the ability to explain complex technologies to clinicians and decision-makers.Exceptional relationship-building skills with clinical, administrative, and executive stakeholders.Highly motivated self-starter with strong organisational skills.Problem-solving ability and resilience under pressure.Proficient in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).Education & ExperienceBachelor's degree (Science, Medicine, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred).7–10+ years' healthcare sales experience, ideally within the medical device or cardiovascular sector.Demonstrated success introducing new diagnostic technologies into NHS, HSE (Ireland), and/or private healthcare systems.Additional InformationTravel: 60-80% across the assigned geography (North England, Scotland, and Ireland).Base: Home-based role, ideally within commuting distance of Manchester.Heartflow is an equal opportunity employer.
