Mortgage and Protection Adviser (Just Mortgages – Spicerhaart) Just Mortgages is part of Spicerhaart, the UK’s largest independent property group. We are looking for an experienced, self‑employed mortgage and protection broker to work within the Cambridge area. Responsibilities Work at a flexible pace that suits you Provide full advice and recommendations on both mortgage and protection services Own the end‑to‑end process of applications, identifying client needs and offering suitable products Ensure clients receive compliant, clear financial advice and understand the products available Prepare for future appointments, generate referrals, and attract new customers and business Become the hub of knowledge, acting as an expert in client needs and helping them achieve their property dreams Qualifying Criteria Hold CeMAP or a comparable industry‑recognised qualification Have a minimum of 12 months of mortgage‑advising experience within a brokerage Maintain a consistent track record of achieving your goals in your current role Be proactive and self‑motivated Passion for delivering an outstanding customer experience Willingness to learn and adapt to market and developer needs Proven use of mortgage‑specific software Full driving licence Legally entitled to live and work in the UK (proof of right to work required before offer) Benefits 75‑85% commission on banked income – write your own pay cheque at the level you want Start‑up package including high‑quality leads Marketing and compliance support Digital media package with social media training and support Access to Openwork’s competitive proposition, including a multi‑tied protection offering Opportunities to become a commercial broker and/or equity release adviser alongside your current licences Designated area directors offering regular and timely support Lead‑generation and recruitment support for business growth Remote, group and 1‑on‑1 training tailored to your needs Your next step We really want to hear from you – even if you’re not ready to apply and simply want a chat with one of the team.
