Job Description As a static multi‑skilled building services engineer with mechanical qualifications recognised at City & Guilds level, you will undertake scheduled planned maintenance and reactive requirements in Eldon Square. Reporting into the Contracts Manager, you will work in partnership with all departments to deliver planned preventative maintenance and respond to all repair work on the centre’s mechanical, electrical, fabric plant equipment and general property maintenance. Mobile phone, tablet and uniform will be provided. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned and reactive maintenance located in Eldon Square by the required attendance dates. Update the legal compliance documentation via a tablet (provided) to a high standard. Provide job/quote updates to satisfy the internal CAFM system which provides live updates to our client. Be included in a tech team shift rota covering the shopping centre opening hours. Participate in a call‑out rota after successful probation. Work a reasonable amount of overtime to satisfy our client, where necessary. Location Eldon Square, Newcastle Hours of Work Full‑time hours with overtime available. Essential Skills & Qualifications Experience performing works with mechanical pipework services, valves, motors, pumps, bearings, HVAC plant & equipment. Extensive experience in general building services industry relevant qualifications – e.g. plumbing repairs. Recognised qualification in at least one maintenance/engineering discipline. Ability to carry out repairs/replacements of plant, fixtures and fittings as required. Proficiency in servicing and repairs of onsite plant, fixtures and fittings. Capability to organise various housekeeping tasks and arrangements. Desired Skills & Qualifications Vented/Unvented G3 qualification would be beneficial. What We Offer Holiday allowance.
