KS1 Teaching Assistants/MSAs (1:1) - Full-time, temporary ongoing positions starting as soon as possible We are seeking two committed KS1 Teaching Assistants/MSAs to provide 1:1 support in a nurturing and inclusive school environment The school offers a broad and engaging curriculum, and pupils are enthusiastic learners who feel safe and well cared for. Duties as KS1 Teaching Assistant/MSA Provide 1:1 support to pupils in Key Stage 1 Assist in delivering tailored learning activities and interventions Help manage behaviour and promote emotional regulation strategies Support pupils during lunch and break times as a Midday Supervisor Assistant Build positive relationships with pupils to encourage engagement and progress Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment Ideal KS1 Teaching Assistant/MSA Experience working with children in Key Stage 1 Understanding of behaviour management and emotional support strategies Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals Patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to supporting pupils Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children Willingness to undertake relevant training and development Stand Out with Step Teachers At Step Teachers, we're proud to be the only education recruitment agency in Norfolk offering Step On training, part of the County's respected Norfolk Steps behaviour management programme to all teachers and support staff who register with us.
