Job Overview Permanent Band 6 mental health practitioner for a CAMHS eating disorders team across Bradford, Aire Wharfe, Craven CAMHS. Full Time, 37.5 hours per week. Role Description As a mental health practitioner you will assess risk and support children & young people with moderate to severe eating disorder presentations in the community. You will manage risk, prevent hospital admission, and respond to crisis when needed. Key Responsibilities Assess risk and inform decision making for children and young people. Work with risk in the community to prevent hospital admission where possible and manage crisis when needed. Provide clinical support within the eating disorders team. Qualifications Essential: Professional registration as RMN, LD nurse, Occupational Therapist or Social Worker. Desirable: PEAP or equivalent. Essential: Experience within a mental health setting. Desirable: Experience in child and adolescent mental health nursing. Right to Work in the UK Applicants must hold a UK right to work. For visa holders the Trust provides sponsorship only for registered healthcare practitioner roles. Provide confirmation of your right to work and reside in the UK.
