A Little More About Your Role… You will: Work directly with our clients to achieve their needs. Act as Project Director or Project Manager on a wide range of projects whilst helping to grow and develop our work with clients. Stay informed about industry trends and best practice. Oversee projects budget and financial performance. Undertake technical preparation, review and checking of deliverables within the team. Work collaboratively with the wider Strategic Advisory teams in WSP UK business to achieve our aims and objectives. What does your new role involve? Leading advisory projects to provide integrated commercial and technical advisory assignments in decarbonisation. Responsible for co‑ordinating the production of contractual deliverables and due diligence / assurance reports conveying complex commercial and technical issues in a simple form to support decision making, ensuring consistency and quality. Develop and manage relationships with existing and new clients. Pursue opportunities and lead the conversion into projects. Representing WSP at client meetings – you will need to demonstrate a good range of client management skills. Leading the analysis and preparing high quality reports. Coordinating project teams and assist with training and development of the wider team. Leverage the 70,000+ strong internal domain experts and specialist consultants to find answers to complex problems. Possibility of travel overseas for projects as contract work requires. What We Will Be Looking For You To Demonstrate… Degree level education in economics, engineering or business‑related subject. Recent demonstrable track record of successfully delivering a number of complex and/or high‑profile consulting projects is essential. Experience working in a leading engineering consultancy firm, accountancy firm, or other specialist consultancy. Experience in managing teams and co‑ordinating delivery of workstreams to tight deadlines. Strong spoken and written communication skills in English is required while additional language skills would be desirable. Ability to develop client‑facing relationships, with confidence communicating effectively with senior management teams of clients. A comprehensive knowledge of all major relevant software packages (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, PowerBI, Sharepoint etc.). Don’t quite meet all the criteria?
