Consultant, Account Advisory Guidewire Software is hiring a Consultant to support our customers throughout their journey and help them maximize the value of their Guidewire investment. Summary The Account Advisory team conducts business optimization engagements, functionally assesses the utilization of the installed Guidewire platform, and provides recommendations to address observed challenges and pain‑points. The team also offers product demonstrations to drive feature adoption and close functional gaps identified during engagements, with an eye toward expanding into other consultative offerings as needed. Job Description This is a high‑profile, customer‑facing role where the individual will lead, support, and advise on business optimization engagements (primarily within EMEA but also globally). The role is essential for advising customers on how to maximize value from their transformations and migrations to Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP) and from ongoing value delivery. The ideal candidate is analytical, curious, creative, personable, and able to influence technical solutioning or demonstrate credibility in value‑realization consulting principles and governance. The candidate will also contribute strategically to initiatives important to the Account Advisory team and the broader Solution Advisory organization. Sensitive and responsive to the needs of the customer and our internal stakeholders. Credibly leverages best practices gained from Guidewire, customers and the industry. Presents findings in a form that is visually appealing and intellectually compelling. Continuously drives strong collaboration with Customer Success, Sales, Solution Advisory, Services and Product to empower colleagues as trusted advisors. Nurtures customer success, driving loyalty through high‑quality assessments that produce actionable outcomes. Responsibilities Conduct introductory conversations with customers considering Guidewire Cloud or a product upgrade to introduce value methodology concepts. Manage customer relationships through and beyond their upgrade and cloud transition, focusing on building enduring partnerships. Advance the Account Advisory team by continuously improving methodology and tool‑sets based on customer experiences. Promote our consultative services externally through Guidewire marketing events and public conferences. Required Attributes 5+ years of experience in management consulting, functional/technical sales consulting or professional services roles focused on insurance or SaaS platforms. Functional knowledge of the Guidewire applications and/or deep insurance industry expertise with comfort discussing workflow and financial concepts. Exceptional executive presence, oral and written communication, and presentation skills. Comfortable leading large group discussions with senior stakeholders. High analytical aptitude and a consultative mindset to gently challenge customers in making key strategic decisions. Proven ability to create visually compelling presentation material. Ability to think quickly and adjust directions as needed. Energy and passion to help build and grow our consultative efforts within Guidewire. Commitment to a culture of curiosity, innovation, and responsible use of AI, leveraging emerging technologies and data‑driven insights. Desired Attributes Experience in one of the Continental European P&C markets. P&C financial fluency or technical proficiency of transformation programs. Experience with large‑scale cloud deployments and associated strategy development. Experience selling and/or implementing enterprise software. Experience with organizational change management practices. Previous workshop facilitation experience. Demonstrated ability to embrace AI and apply it to the role, using data‑driven insights to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
