What you will be doingAn exciting opportunity for a Project Manager has arisen within Galliford Try’s Environment Business. Working on our Yorkshire Water Frameworks, you will be responsible for the project management of Mechanical, Electrical and Civil installation schemes.Have responsibility for the daily management of multiple concurrent projects across the Framework to ensure the successful delivery.Ensure project compliance with KPIs, Health and Safety regulations, and environmental legislation.Work closely with other departments, building strong working relationships, to ensure client requirements are met.Co-ordinate and liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, in-house functions, site installations, and construction teams.Have responsibility for the financial performance of each project, participating in monthly financial reviews with the Commercial Managers.Take an active role in developing a detailed project programme ensuring it is maintained to drive the project to key deliverable milestones.Be responsible for the Health and Safety of yourself and others, encouraging a safe and collaborative working environment.About youHave an industry applicable ONC/HNC/B Eng or NVQ equivalent.Have a CSCS card and IOSH or CITD 5 Day Site Safety Management (SMSTS).Have a wealth of experience in working within the water and sewage industries.Flexibility, resilience and the ability to influence and build relationships with key stakeholders.Self-starter with a can-do attitude and a desire to pick up new challenges, dedicated to working together to achieve results.Desire to understand and promote the Company purpose, vision, values and culture.What We Can Offer in ReturnWith an impressive order book of over £4.1 billion we are one of the industry’s leading principal contractors, affording you the opportunity to work on some of the UK’s most exciting projects offering you stability as well as the chance to stretch your capabilities and realise long held career goals.
