This role offers an opportunity to develop our growing sustainability offering locally, as part of a wider team across the UK. You will be naturally proactive and help support the development of the local service offering in response to evolving national and local legislative drivers.ResponsibilitiesAssist with the delivery of BREEAM projects with support from senior members of the teamPart L, Energy Strategies and LCA assessmentManage your own workload to meet project deadlinesReview project details and develop targets for sustainabilityReview documentation provided by project teams, assess against targets, and provide feedback or follow-upSet up and maintain projects via the project evidence trackerCommunicate sustainability requirements to internal and external team membersProduce reports providing advice and guidance to clients and project teamsAttend site visits to review progress against sustainability targetsReview the performance of designated projects on a monthly basis and update the team’s project tracker with progress informationAssist in preparing bids and proposals for new workEngage with skills networks to exchange best practices and processesAbout YouTo succeed in this role, you’ll need:A relevant degree, BEng (Hons) or BSc (Hons) or equivalent/higherQualified BREEAM AssessorBackground in building physics/environmental design, environmental science or sustainability related disciplinesWorking knowledge of building performance modelling techniquesKnowledge of planning, environmental impact assessments or wider sustainability legislationKnowledge of or technical ability in building services related disciplinesAmbitious, self-motivated and enthusiasticExcellent communication, presentation and writing skillsThorough understanding of the construction industry and built environmentClient relationship management skillsProven track record of project deliveryPart L modelling experience (TAS preferable) and LCA experience (OneClick LCA preferable)Experience developing and managing othersEmerging business development and sales skillsStrong business development experienceAbout StantecStantec is a global design leader with a diverse team of over 32,000 engineers, architects, scientists, and project managers.
