Job Title: Orthopaedic Scrub PractitionerLocation: East KilbrideWorking Pattern: 4 days per week Role Overview Head Medical is delighted to have a block booking opportunity with an established client in the Central belt of Scotland. We are looking for experienced Orthopaedic Scrub Practitioners to join our team. The successful candidates will play a key role in supporting waiting list patients with orthopaedic procedures, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety in the operating theatre. You will play a crucial role inensuring safe execution of surgical procedures and work as part of a team. Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain the sterile field for orthopaedic surgeries. Assist surgeons during procedures, anticipating needs and ensuring smooth workflow. Handle surgical instruments and equipment with precision and care. Adhere to infection control and health & safety protocols. Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team. Requirements Current registration with UK Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) or Healthcare Professions Council (HCPC), with no restrictions on practice. A minimum of 18 months post graduate experience in orthopaedic scrub roles. Strong knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
