Labour Controller – Lightning Protection Systems Location: Newcastle-Under-Lyme, ST5 7RH Contract: Permanent Salary: £26,000–£28,500 What You’ll Be Doing Plan and schedule lightning protection testing, maintenance, and remedial works across the UK. Coordinate a team of specialist engineers, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project timelines. Act as the central link between clients, engineers, and internal teams to keep operations smooth and responsive. Monitor job progress, paperwork, invoicing, and reporting to maintain high standards and accountability. Support performance tracking, helping the team meet KPIs and deliver outstanding service. What We’re Looking For Experience as a Labour Controller, Scheduler, or Planner in a fast‑paced, service‑led environment. Calm under pressure, quick‑thinking, and a natural problem solver. Strong communication and organisational skills. Confident using Excel and internal systems to manage schedules and data. Able to build relationships and support a team with empathy and efficiency.
