We are seeking a Deputy Home Manager to join this team at a well-established 42-bed dementia nursing home in Maidstone. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role in a fully occupied home, providing exceptional care and support to residents living with dementia. About The Role As the Deputy Home Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of the home. This is a dual role, combining management responsibilities with hands-on nursing duties. You will work 40 hours per week, split between 18 hours of management duties and 22 hours as Nurse in Charge. Responsibilities Supporting the Home Manager in the day-to-day operations of the home. Leading and mentoring the nursing and care team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care. Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements. Conducting clinical assessments and developing care plans tailored to individual needs. Managing staff rotas, training, and development to maintain a skilled and motivated workforce. Building positive relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders. Qualifications NMC Registration as a General Nurse (RGN). Proven experience as a Deputy Manager, Clinical Lead, or Senior Nurse in a dementia nursing home setting. Strong clinical skills and a thorough understanding of dementia care. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Experience and qualifications in management are highly desirable. A compassionate and professional approach to care, with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards.
