We’re currently searching for a fantastic Deputy Service Manager to join us in leading our residential service in Dover.Our Deputy Service Managers will be responsible for managing a team of colleagues with the purpose of helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives. Responsibilities include:Developing and implementing person-centred support plansConducting care needs assessmentsRecruiting and inducting new colleaguesCompleting supervisions/appraisalsCompleting medication competencies and medication auditsAttending multi-disciplinary meetingsCompleting reports and generally assisting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day management of our serviceYou will also take part in the on-call rota (although this may be subject to change depending on the needs of the service).To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in a care management role and a Level 3 in Health & Social Care, as well as experience working with individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, complex individuals with mental health needs, traumatic backgrounds, and challenging behaviours.We encourage our staff to grow together through our excellent training programme, starting at induction and following you through your career, with opportunities for promotion and progression as well as job security in a sector-leading organisation.Voyage Care is an equal opportunities employer.
