The Role This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to take a leading role within the Leicester office. You’ll oversee day‑to‑day project delivery, mentor junior team members, and step up to lead the team in the Principal Engineer’s absence. You’ll work on a wide range of projects, helping drive the consultancy’s next phase of regional growth. Key Responsibilities Lead and deliver civil infrastructure design projects (drainage, highways, earthworks, and external works). Use Civil 3D, MicroDrainage, and Causeway Flow to produce high‑quality design deliverables. Ensure compliance with UK design standards and quality expectations. Manage workloads, resources, and deadlines effectively. Provide technical mentorship and leadership to the civil engineering team. Liaise with clients, contractors, and local authorities with professionalism and confidence. Contribute to business development and the growth of regional offices. About You Chartered (CEng) or close to chartership. 5–10 years’ experience in civil infrastructure design within a consultancy. Proficient in Civil 3D, MicroDrainage, and Causeway Flow. Proven leadership and project‑management capability. Confident communicator with a proactive mindset. Based within 1 hour of Leicester (or open to relocation).
