You'll oversee day-to-day project delivery, mentor junior team members, and step up to lead the team in the Principal Engineer's absence. You'll work on a wide range of projects, helping drive the consultancy's next phase of regional growth.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and deliver civil infrastructure design projects (drainage, highways, earthworks, and external works).Use Civil 3D, MicroDrainage, and Causeway Flow to produce high‑quality design deliverables.Ensure compliance with UK design standards and quality expectations.Manage workloads, resources, and deadlines effectively.Provide technical mentorship and leadership to the civil engineering team.Liaise with clients, contractors, and local authorities with professionalism and confidence.Contribute to business development and the growth of regional offices.About YouChartered (CEng) or close to chartership.5-10 years' experience in civil infrastructure design within consultancy.Proficient in Civil 3D, MicroDrainage, and Causeway Flow.Proven leadership and project management capability.Confident communicator with a proactive mindset.Based within 1 hour of Leicester (or open to relocation).What's on OfferA genuine leadership opportunity, stepping up to manage the Leicester team when the Principal Engineer is away.Work on a diverse and interesting portfolio across multiple sectors.Join a growing, design‑led consultancy with major regional expansion plans.Flexible salary discussion - the firm prefers to see what top candidates believe they're worth.Supportive culture, visible impact, and career growth potential. #J-18808-Ljbffr
