The Role of the Manufacturing Engineering Manager: They are seeking a dynamic Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead all engineering activities across various production processes. This pivotal role involves ensuring processes, tooling, automation, and equipment consistently produce high-quality components efficiently and safely. The manager will oversee process optimisation, develop engineering strategies, enhance automation, and drive technical excellence while leading a team. Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Engineering Manager: Lead all engineering activities to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations. Manage process optimisation, automation enhancements, and process controls across multiple products. Drive continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Planning teams to support stable operations and growth. Lead safety initiatives, risk assessments, and ensure compliance with statutory and internal safety standards. Support troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues related to processes and equipment. Develop and implement automation strategies to improve process control and reduce operator dependency. Requirements of the Manufacturing Engineering Manager: Proven experience in a manufacturing engineering leadership role within high-volume production environments. Experience leading automation projects or process optimisation initiatives. Strong troubleshooting skills using structured engineering methods. Demonstrated ability in process validation, capability studies, and documentation. Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and automation requirements.
