Overview We are recruiting a Gynaecology Practice Nurse to join our Outpatient Gynaecology services at East and North Hertfordshire Teaching NHS Trust. The role supports women attending Early Pregnancy and Emergency Gynaecology Units and provides specialist inpatient support. Responsibilities Work as part of the Gynaecology Nurse Practitioner team to support Outpatient Services and deliver high quality and safe care. Provide holistic assessment of women attending Gynaecology Outpatient Services. Take responsibility for making differential diagnosis within the level of competence. Plan and provide specialist treatment in collaboration with others as appropriate. Provide specialist advice and information to women, families and junior members of the nursing and medical staff. Support the development of the Gynaecology Specialist Nursing service with Lead Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Clinical Service Manager and the Matron. Work autonomously to provide and implement care in accordance with agreed policies and guidelines. Offer specialist inpatient support to Gynaecology patients receiving care in the ward setting.
