We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Band 6 Specialist Physiotherapist to join our well‑established, innovative and friendly Musculoskeletal (MSK) Outpatient Team at Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. This is a fantastic opportunity for staff who have completed their Band 5 rotations or who are looking to expand their existing clinical knowledge within MSK. To apply, candidates must hold a valid HCPC registration and demonstrate skills as a clinician working with patients across a range of musculoskeletal conditions. Candidates should have the capacity for autonomous clinical decision‑making, strong communication skills, and a desire to expand their knowledge and skills. Flexibility, teamwork, compassion, and experience contributing to service development are essential. Responsibilities Provide MSK assessment, diagnosis and management of a variety of MSK conditions through clear and logical clinical reasoning. Deliver MSK assessments and treatments in a variety of settings, including 1:1, group and virtual. Support the development of Band 5 physiotherapists, unregistered staff and undergraduate physiotherapy students. Work closely with other teams/agencies and address a range of support issues across MSK and pain conditions. Support service development and delivery of local and Trust wide projects. Participate in the MSK IST programme and regular clinical supervision. Ensure effective outcomes of person‑centred care and follow up with monitoring and evaluation.
