We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their growth and development through engaging activities and interactions. Responsibilities Provide high-quality care and education for children in the nursery setting. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Observe and assess children's progress, ensuring individual needs are met. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships. Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Support children's emotional well-being by promoting positive behaviour and social skills. Collaborate with team members to manage daily nursery operations efficiently. Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance professional development. Skills Strong leadership abilities to guide and inspire both children and staff. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Experience in childcare settings, demonstrating an understanding of child development. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail. A genuine drive to create a nurturing atmosphere for children in the nursery. Capability to effectively engage with children of various ages, fostering their curiosity and creativity.
