Nursery Housekeeper

Sapphires Nursery School is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a friendly, reliable and well-organised Housekeeper to join our warm, family-owned setting. We are looking for someone who takes pride in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene, helping us provide a safe, welcoming and beautiful environment for our children, families and team.

Location- East Molesey (10 minutes from Hampton Court station)

Salary- £19,044-£20,573 per year (DOE) equivalent to £12.21–£13.19 per hour

Working Pattern- Monday to Friday, 11.15am to 5:45pm

Contract Type- Permanent, 30 hours per week.

About the Role

We are committed to building a passionate, dedicated and caring team. We are now looking for a friendly, warm and reliable individual to take responsibility for the following:

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across all areas of the nursery, ensuring every space is kept clean, tidy and well-presented at all times.
• Ensure the entrance area is always welcoming, clean, tidy and reflective of our high standards.
• Clean all surfaces and furnishings throughout the nursery, including wooden furniture, wooden floors, mats, paintwork, bathroom tiles, and glass doors.
• Report any maintenance issues promptly to management, providing clear feedback when repairs or replacements are needed.
• Check and verify the weekly consumables delivery, ensuring all items are stored safely and appropriately.
• Monitor and manage stock levels of cleaning materials and equipment to ensure sufficient supplies are always available.
• Prepare weekly stock takes and update management on upcoming needs.
• Remove all rubbish daily and dispose of it in the designated outdoor bins, ready for collection.
• Carry out additional housekeeping tasks as required to support the smooth running of the nursery.
