Job Overview Position: Facilities Receptionist/Administrator Location: County Buildings – North & East, Lancaster & Morecambe, Lancashire Salary: £25,185–£25,989 per annum Hours: 37 hours per week Employment: Permanent, Full Time Responsibilities Provide a friendly, welcoming, and professional front‑of‑house reception function and general administration and office support to the Operational Facilities Manager and to the wider service management teams. Work across our two main receptions – one entrance for LCC Professionals and another for service users requiring access to facilities or having general enquiries. Display empathy and resilience when meeting members of the public and professionals; manage challenging situations with sensitivity. Coordinate with other services to maintain facilities, such as boiler services, alarm testing, and booking contractors for general maintenance and repairs. Keep data up to date using Excel; book rooms for meetings. Work on a rota basis, 8:30‑4:30 one week and 9‑5 the next, ensuring safety and support by working in pairs where possible.
