We are currently recruiting for a Part time Spa Therapist at Norton House Hotel & Spa, part of Hand Picked Hotels. Sweeping past the original stone gatehouse and journeying along the tree-lined drive of Norton House Hotel & Spa in Edinburgh, this prestigious Georgian country house leaves an indelible first impression. Like fine malt whisky, it has improved with age. Now a mecca for stylish dining, 21st-century comforts and cutting-edge technology blend with historic features to create a sense of the old and new working in unison. This 1840 country house hotel is an idyllic Scottish wedding venue and one of the best meeting venues in Edinburgh, thanks to its location, just 5 minutes from Edinburgh Airport and 20 minutes from the city centre. About the Role As a Spa Therapist, you will help support the success of your team, feeling engaged and ready to consistently deliver exceptional service, putting the guest at the heart of all activities. You will be expected to demonstrate that you can deliver outstanding Spa treatments and develop your knowledge to ensure you feel confident in delivering positive recommendations for our guests. Mindfulness and well-being is your top priority, so you will be passionate about maintaining high standards and delivering memorable guest experiences to ensure that all clients leave feeling on top of the world and with a clear mind. Most of all we will want you to be inspired, have fun and enjoy being part of our Hand Picked Team. About you Previous experience as a Spa Therapist, working in a luxury 4/5 star Hotel Spa environment is desirable for this role. We are looking for candidates that have current UK beauty therapy level 3 Qualifications or relevant massage qualifications, and are confident in demonstrating these skills. Being driven to deliver outstanding and memorable customer service will be your passion and motivation. You will be excellent at building a rapport with guests making them feel at home, relaxed and importantly identify and create magical memories at every possible opportunity. Be able to demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence, enabling you to be able to anticipate our guests needs ensuring they receive a Hand Picked experience. Most of all, you will have a professional, organised and friendly approach and be able to anticipate our guests needs and create memories. Company Benefits Our Benefits include: A competitive salary package of £15.82 per hour, plus a share of service charge and commission on retail sales. We are looking for candidates to be flexible with days that they can work as our spa is open 7 days a week. 16 hour contract available. days to be discussed during interview.
