The main duties and responsibilities of this post are to Ensure a safe and high standard of care of all patients Participate in the running of the department/ward Provide clinical supervision of Junior doctors on medical wards &/or in the on‑call team Provide senior medical input for the on‑call Medical Team (especially Out of Hours) and potentially lead the cardiac arrest team Assist with achieving the DOH Clinical Quality Indicators The ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team is essential to this post.
