We’re seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Citizen Insight Analysis Lead to help us realise this ambition by establishing and managing a new Citizen Insight Hub. The opportunity now is to bring it together: to corral these insights into a central, accessible hub that will transform how we capture, manage and apply citizen insight. The Citizen Insight Analysis Lead will play a key role in this transformation. This role will sit within the newly formed Citizen Insight and Participation Team, part of the Combined Authority’s Evidence, Research and Intelligence Service. The team has been repositioned to consolidate and strengthen our approach to citizen engagement, with a renewed focus on analysing and disseminating citizen insights, developing deeper, more inclusive participation channels and expanding opportunities for co-production. About The Person We are looking for an experienced insight professional who understands the power of citizen voice to shape public services, build trust, and drive meaningful change. We are looking for someone with expertise in both quantitative and qualitative methods, with the ability to confidently interpret citizen feedback. You will demonstrate the ability to synthesise complex information into clear, actionable intelligence that supports strategy, service design, and investment decisions. You can evidence commitment to equity, inclusion, and high-quality public service as well as understanding of the importance of amplifying under‑represented voices.
