Laing O'Rourke (Expanded) are currently recruiting for a Senior Engineer to work on our Monklands Hospital Replacement project, in Airdrie (Glasgow)Scope of works: reinforced concrete structuresRole & ResponsibilitiesManaging a team of between 2 and 4 Section EngineersUtilise and recommend best engineering methodsDesign process knowledgeRAMSInterpret as-built informationProvides guidance to less experienced staffCompletes QA documentation and record keepingImplements ITP requirementsProduction of method statements or understanding of how they are producedTemporary works understanding and TWC (Temporary works coordinator)Understanding of materials and plant including call off schedulesAware of site HS&E proceduresExperience / QualificationsDegree qualified in Civil Engineering discipline, other construction related degree or an industry recognised technical or engineering qualificationCirca 6 years' relevant technical / practical experience within an engineering roleStructures experienceAbout UsLaing O'Rourke are an international engineering and construction company delivering state-of-the-art infrastructure and buildings projects for clients in the UK, Middle East and Australia.Certainty, reliability, quality – this is what our clients want.
