You will be responsible for both maintaining the high level of customer service for existing customers and for the development of new business by creating your own portfolio of accounts.Role and ResponsibilitiesReceiving and processing customer enquiries and orders (via phone, email etc.)Managing accounts within your territory and recording outcomesMonitoring and achieving key targetsManaging the sales territory so as to achieve budgeted sales and profitDeveloping contacts and relationships with customersPromptly contacting leads suppliedBusiness Development activity to build a pipeline and take on new accountsBeing aware of competitor activity and reporting changes in the marketplaceAssisting the Inventory Controller ensuring accurate stocks are maintained to service customer requirementsUnderstanding the role of Credit ControlPromoting good communications with customersDay to day sales administrationCandidateThe ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and/or account management and have a natural ability to communicate with people on all levels.Experience of working within a distribution/manufacturing/machining environment would be advantageous, however, is not essential as full training will be provided.Thank you for your interest in this vacancy and good luck with your application.If you have not heard from a member of the Future Prospects team within 7 days from your application, please assume that your application has not been successful on this occasion.
