When completed, it will provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years, which along with renewables, will support Britain to achieve Net Zero by 2050.We’re looking for a technical Issues Resolution Lead (Risk, Opportunities and Resolutions Lead) to manage the resolution of technical issues and oversee the management of Sizewell C’s key engineering and technical risks, in line with the Technical Directorate’s risk management process.In this role, you’ll drive collaboration and ensure seamless coordination across multiple areas of our business. While you won’t be directly reviewing designs or documents, you’ll play a vital role in managing and orchestrating risk resolution activities. Your focus will be on ensuring alignment, progress and effective resolution of technical challenges.The RoleIn this role, you will lead the resolution of emergent priority technical issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions while overseeing the management of key engineering and technical risks for Sizewell C.Communication is key, and you’ll be the bridge between technical teams, senior leadership, and stakeholders to keep things running smoothly. Working as an Issues Resolution Lead you’ll know exactly who the important internal and external networks are to communicate between technical teams, senior leadership, and key stakeholders - essential to ensuring a structured approach to risk resolution.As the Issues Resolution Lead, you will report to both the Head of Transverse Technical and the Technical ROR Manager, ensuring alignment with the overall technical strategy and a coordinated approach to managing technical risks. Sizewell C will occupy the whole of the 4th floor. We are targeting a move in February 2025.This role will be contractually based at 25 Copthall Avenue.
