We want to hear from youMy client is a forward-thinking, fast-growing accountancy practice based in the heart of Glasgow City Centre, and they’re looking for a Finance Administrator to join their friendly and ambitious team. This is a permanent, full-time position – ideal for someone with experience in an accountancy practice and who is passionate about delivering excellence in administrative and client support.What You'll Be Doing – Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral Administrative SupportAct as the first point of contact for incoming calls and emailsManage incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring timely handlingSchedule appointments and manage calendars for the teamMonitor and replenish office supplies, ensuring smooth daily operationsProvide ad hoc admin support to the wider team as neededBasic Accounting SupportPerform accurate data entry into accounting platforms such as Xero and SageAssist with processing of client invoices and staff expense reportsAssist in preparing internal financial reports and documentationClient Communication & SupportHandle client queries with professionalism and a positive attitudePrepare and issue engagement letters, client welcome packs, and other key documentsLiaise with clients to request required financial records and documentationRelay messages and updates to and from clients and accountants clearly and promptlyMaintain and organise both digital and physical client filesEnsure records are compliant, accurate, and always up to dateSupport GDPR and confidentiality best practices at all timesAssist with HMRC correspondence and filing as requiredWhy Join Us?Growth & Development: Be part of a rapidly expanding practice with exciting career progression opportunitiesSupportive Team Culture: Work within a collaborative, approachable, and knowledgeable teamTeam Events & Socials: We believe in celebrating wins and fostering team spiritWhat We're Looking ForPrevious experience in an accountancy practice or similar finance environment (essential)Excellent organisational and multitasking skillsFamiliarity with accounting software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks (preferred)Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel and Outlook)Strong written and verbal communication skillsA proactive attitude and a keen eye for detailAble to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial data responsiblyWorking HoursMonday to Friday9:00 AM – 5:00 PMOffice-basedJoin us as we continue to grow – and bring your career along for the journeyAt Iconic Resourcing, we understand that not all candidates will meet every desired qualification or skill listed for the job positions posted on behalf of our clients.
