Site Officer – Overview Summit Learning Trust is looking to appoint a highly motivated Site Officer to assist the Senior Site Manager and the team in the provision of efficient and effective caretaking support of the site, including general site duties and maintenance. The role will be based at Lyndon School, but you must be prepared to travel to other sites within the Trust if required. There will be some evening events that will require flexibility. Key Responsibilities Support the Senior Site Manager with caretaking and general site duties. Carry out site maintenance routines and respond to emergencies as required. Work flexibly, prioritise workload and maintain a professional, friendly manner at all times. Promote safeguarding and work positively with the leadership team to maintain student safety. Essential Qualifications and Experience Previous experience in estates and facilities, ideally within an educational setting. Ability to work flexibly and prioritise workload. Calm under pressure and uphold a professional, friendly manner. Aware of health and safety requirements (training will be provided). Salary and Working Hours Grade 3 (points 9‑22) – FTE £27,254–£33,699 – Actual Salary £14,933–£18,645 per annum. Hours: 20 hours per week, all year round. Average shifts 2 pm – 6 pm, Monday‑Friday with occasional variations, some later nights with paid overtime. Location: Based at Lyndon School.
