We are now recruiting for the exciting role of Senior Engineer - E3S Engineering Interface, to be involved in industry leading, cutting-edge design project for a new type of power station.What you will do; As a member of the Environment, Safety, Security and Safeguards (E3S) team, you will proactively drive E3S into the design and provide advice and guidance in support of Engineering and others. You will work closely with designers and analysts to deliver E3S informed design. You will be key in achieving and demonstrating a design that reducing risks to as low as reasonably practicable (ALARP) using best available techniques (BAT). Our directorate also provides regulatory interfacing efforts in supporting of national and international licencing. You will provide a principal interface with regulators and lead licensing activities for an engineering or analysis topic, e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Severe Accident Analysis.This role is well suited to individuals with nuclear safety engineering and safety case production experience, although other relevant backgrounds will also be considered.**Pay And Benefits** We anticipate paying a salary of between £48,000 - £63,000 DOE plus:-* Bonus - Performance related target opportunity 12.5%* Benefits Allowance – £2,200 per annum, enabling you to create a bespoke package* Pension - 12% employer and 6% employee contributions.* Holidays - 28 days holiday (+ public holidays) and the ability to buy or sell up to 4 days.* Private Medical Insurance - BUPA single cover health care* Life Assurance - 6x pensionable pay* £250 - One-off payment for new starters for home office purchases**Company Related** We are Rolls-Royce SMR Rolls-Royce SMR is a rare employer because it blends the world-class brand of Rolls Royce with an exciting start-up that has a hugely challenging mission.
