About The Role To provide a broad range of administrative and clerical support to the Head of Marketing, including managing and maintaining the business's digital platforms such as the website and social media channels. The role will also support the Head of Marketing in developing and delivering a wide range of marketing initiatives. Salary Up to £25,000 Reporting Line This position reports directly to the Head of Marketing. It may also take instruction from the Regional General Manager (RGM) and other Heads of Department. Administration Provide full administrative, clerical and technical support to the Head of Marketing. Manage and maintain all social media channels relating to the business. Assist in the maintenance and updating of the group websites – WordPress. Work proactively alongside the RGM and Head of Marketing to create marketing campaigns, meeting the business objectives and aims. Responsible for the design and distribution of all marketing collateral including promotional brochures, posters, leaflets and all internal stationery. Produce and publish regular newsletters to all stakeholders on instruction from HODs and the RGM. Engage with customers by email or in person at the office or external corporate events. Under instruction, produce and send bi‑annual driver satisfaction surveys. Work with suppliers to obtain and order marketing merchandise as required. Perform regular competitor analysis and advise of changes in activity across all media outlets (not just social media). Lead generation: identifying and cultivating potential customers and actioning digital requests. Other Behave in a respectful manner at all times whilst working or representing the company. Attain the service levels set by the Head of Marketing and RGM. Attend training sessions and staff meetings as required. Pro‑actively suggest improvements to working practices. Follow the company's contingency plans in the event of any systems faults, problems or failures. Adhere to and work with all company policies, procedures and practices. Adhere to all Equal Opportunities policies. Work in accordance with the Data Protection Act. Work in accordance with Health and Safety legislation. Assist in any ad‑hoc duties, projects and activities as and when required. Undertake such other duties that may reasonably be expected. Essential Relevant work experience in a similar role, experience in working to targets and deadlines. Proficient with digital design (Canva, CorelDraw or similar). Experience in design and website creation using WordPress. Experience in social media management and design, particularly utilising paid adverts. Good professional image, friendly and polite. Excellent phone manner. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Good interpersonal skills. Ability to work to a high standard (quickly and while under pressure). Ability to multi‑task and work independently. Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Pro‑active and highly resourceful, with a desire to create a positive experience for others. Keen to develop over time with a willingness and ability to learn. Desirable Previous digital marketing experience.
