Key Information Post: Teaching Assistant – Level 2 (x2) Responsible to: Headteacher Location: Our Lady & St Paul's RC Primary School Salary: Grade 3, scp 5-6, £16,541.54‑£16,804.06 (£25,583‑£25,989 FTE) Term of contract: Fixed‑term until 31/08/2026 due to EHCP funding Working pattern: TTO+2 days Hours per week: 28 hours per week, 8.40 am‑2.20 pm, Monday‑Friday Start date: ASAP Closing date: 4 January 2026 Our Lady & St Paul's RC Primary School are currently seeking a Teaching Assistant – Level 2 (x2). This is an exciting opportunity to join the Trust as it continues its journey of transition, development, and growth within the multi‑academy trust. Post 1 will be working 1:1 with a pupil with an EHCP. Our Lady & St Paul’s R.C. We are seeking an individual who: Has experience of working with children in a paid or voluntary capacity or in an educational setting Has an awareness and basic knowledge of school curriculum (within specific age range) Has the ability to liaise sensitively and effectively with parents and carers, recognising role in pupils’ learning Has the ability to work effectively within a team environment, understanding classroom roles and responsibilities Has the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with all pupils and colleagues We can offer: A supportive and dedicated Local Governing Body and Staff Highly effective safeguarding procedures.
