The Job you will do:

* Close working with Senior Engineer & Section Leader to develop new business.

* Up-Stream working with target customers; clearly explaining their needs to internal teams.

* To support development of new products from Concept stage to Industrialization that meets the performance, durability and layout specified by the customer / HM standards.

* Regular visit to target customer’s sites.

* Business travel as required to other sites

* To work in accordance with company procedures, work and operating instructions; which comply with the requirements of ISO TS 16949.

* To use engineering tools & techniques to ensure design quality assurance.

* To coordinate the product validation with Test Department and customer (Specification / Test conditions / Delivery of products / Test report analysis)

* To investigate failure modes and causes, suggesting possible countermeasures.

* To ensure good communication with external customers & other internal functions (QA/Sales/Production/Test)

* To carry out Benchmarking & cost reduction activities.

About you:

* A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.

* Fluent English (written & verbal), foreign language (French, Spanish, German) would be an advantage.

* Working experience within a fast-paced, high volume manufacturing environment

* Understand Component Parts Manufacturing Processes

* Knowledge of CAD/CAE tools, capability to analyse results.

* Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, effective in a cross-regional and cross[1]functional environment.

* Ability to adjust and adapt to changing situations, problems and tasks quickly.

* Self-sufficient in MS Office and other related IT packages

* Intercultural mind-set

* Continuous improvement mind-set.

* Self-management & ability to raise roadblocks in timely manner
