We are seeking a Software Engineer (Backend) to help design and implement backend systems powering next-generation social and gaming experiences. This is a hands‑on role for an engineer who is passionate about backend development, enjoys problem‑solving, and wants to grow within a fast‑paced, collaborative environment. You will work closely with senior engineers to build reliable, scalable, and performant services that reach millions of players worldwide. Responsibilities Develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs that support live and social features. Implement features from design through to deployment, working under the guidance of senior engineers. Collaborate with product, design, and frontend teams to deliver end‑to‑end features. Write clean, efficient, and well‑documented code, following best practices. Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high‑quality delivery. Support DevOps/SRE efforts by maintaining CI/CD pipelines and monitoring systems. Continuously learn and improve, developing technical depth in backend systems and cloud services. Success Metrics Delivery of reliable, well‑tested backend features aligned with project goals. Contribution to team productivity and code quality standards. Effective collaboration with peers and cross‑functional partners. Demonstrated growth in technical skills and ownership over time. Qualifications 2-4+ years of professional backend development experience. Proficiency in C#/.NET, with working knowledge of cloud‑based environments (AWS or equivalent). Experience building API‑driven services that integrate with frontends or mobile clients. Good familiarity with databases (SQL, PostgreSQL, and/or MongoDB). Understanding of CI/CD workflows, testing, and debugging tools. Awareness of scalability, reliability, and security considerations in distributed systems.
