We are now looking for a hands‑on Branch Manager to lead the operation of our Manchester retail store and warehouse.Role OverviewThe Branch Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth, efficient, and professional day‑to‑day running of the branch across both retail, online sales and warehouse functions. This is a hands‑on operational and strategic role, overseeing staff, shopfloor standards, warehousing, stock control, online sales and EPOS systems. You will have autonomy over day‑to‑day operational decisions and will report directly to the company directors.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational ManagementOversee day‑to‑day retail store and warehouse standards, ensuring a clean, organised and professional environmentMaintain compliance with company procedures and operational expectationsEnsure exceptional levels of customer service across the branchProvide remote oversight and management support to our Huddersfield branchWarehouse & Stock ControlManage and support the Warehouse SupervisorOversee stock control, replenishment and orderingMaintain accurate EPOS and stock recordsEnsure efficient and timely goods‑in and goods‑out processesStaff ManagementLead, develop and motivate the store and warehouse teamsConduct staff training and support professional developmentPlan and manage the staff rota for a 7‑day operating scheduleHandle general HR duties in line with company policiesDecision‑Making & ReportingMake operational decisions and approve purchases within agreed limitsProduce regular operational updates and reports for the company directorsRequirementsMinimum 3 years’ experience in a managerial or operational leadership roleStrong IT and EPOS system skillsExperience managing teams in a 7‑day operational environmentExcellent communication, organisational and leadership abilitiesAbility to work flexibly across a 5‑day rota (minimum 40 hours per week)Opportunity to lead a respected branch within a long‑established, family‑run businessWorking HoursWorking 5 days out of 7 on a flexible rotaBased solely at the Manchester branch #J-18808-Ljbffr
