Activities & Events Manager (Summer) | EF Oxford Brookes Full Time / Fixed Term Are you looking to progress in your career, whilst gaining experience in a culturally diverse environment, working with students from across the globe? If so, challenge yourself this summer with EF Education First Your Role EF Oxford Brookes is searching for an energetic and organised individual to join our team as Activities & Events Manager this summer. This is the perfect opportunity to develop your managerial skills whilst gaining experience within an international company. We have openings for onsite live‑in roles at our EF summer camp at Oxford Brookes University. This role is available for 8‑12 weeks during June, July & August. Responsibilities Work with the summer management team to deliver an exceptional experience to our students, taking overall responsibility for the activity programme in your school. Shape students’ experiences by planning and delivering everything from interactive games for small groups to large wow events of over 1,000 students. Support a team of local and international leaders in ensuring all activities give students a sense of the local culture while being safe and unforgettable fun at the same time. On a daily basis, liaise with local suppliers and motivate and shape your team of leaders to create the summer of a lifetime for every student, completing schedules and administrative tasks and engaging the crowd at events. Share the emergency duty of the site on a rota basis. Requirements Strong leadership skills with some management/team leading experience. Commitment to the highest level of customer service. Sociable and fun disposition with the ability to motivate and energise others. Financial and business acumen. English fluency and excellent communication skills. Able to work independently. Ability to work and thrive under pressure. All offers are subject to a clear enhanced DBS check and two references. Right to work in the UK upon the commencement of your contract. This is a live‑in position where accommodation and full board are provided at no extra cost; there are some residential requirements attached to this.
