Role: Operations & Quality Manager – Social Care
Location: Upminister
Salary: £70,000 - 75,000
Contract: Fill time/ Permanent

This is your opportunity to make an impact supporting both care teams and leadership, overseeing operations and raising the bar for compliance, quality and staff support.

Role will include:

Oversee day-to-day operations, fostering a culture of safe, effective, and compassionate care.

Lead quality assurance audits, supporting teams to identify areas of good practice and pinpoint improvements.

*

Liaise weekly with managers, residents, relatives, and staff, ensuring open lines of communication.

*

Mentor and coach managers, build their skills, supervise, and support training needs.

*

Monitor staff supervisions, appraisals, turnover, development, and ensure robust compliance with regulatory standards.

*

Respond promptly to statutory communications, working closely with senior leadership to ensure timely, well-documented responses.

*

Operate an open-door policy, championing transparency, and collaboration.

Strong leadership credentials and a track record in social care management.

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

*

Thorough knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practice in care settings.

*

Natural motivatorable to coach, mentor and inspire your teams to continually improve standards.

*

Organized, efficient, and able to keep documentation accurate and up to date.
