Crematorium Operative

**Job Description

Bereavement Services is seeking a Crematorium Operative

We are looking for a dedicated team member to manage all operational aspects of the cremation and memorial services. This role involves overseeing the process from the arrival of the funeral at the crematorium to the disposal and commemoration of cremated remains, in accordance with Council policies, Service standards and procedures, legal requirements, professional codes of practice, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities include routine maintenance and improvement of the grounds and facilities, updating internal records, and assisting bereaved families and funeral professionals.
