As a Business Analyst your role will be to conduct analysis of business change requirements and liaise with their software team to devise system enhancements and develop system functionality.Key Areas of ResponsibilityBusiness AnalysisUndertaking analysis and elicitation activities to capture and communicate business requirementsPreparing and maintaining project documentation, to include (but not limited to) the Business Case, Gap Analysis (As is/To be process), User Stories and the Business Requirements DocumentPost implementation reviews, including benefits realisation.Impact analysis of changes for evolving and new requirements.Assisting in writing of test scripts, user release notes and training materials.Dealing with post implementation and ad-hoc system functionality queries from internal users (if required).ConsultationIdentifying and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels on agreed change.Acting as a liaison point between the developers, business units and 3rd parties.Co-ordinating and consulting with software developers to develop functionality and enhancements to the company systems.Other DutiesAssisting others in the writing of documentation, instructions, processes and procedures.Working with various business areas and developers to maintain and improve existing in-house software.Delivering training to any of the business on a releases.Providing support for general system queries.Involvement in or running of project work when required.Playing an active role in the continuous improvement of the Analysis team.Education and Knowledge RequirementsEssential:A good understanding of Change ManagementSystem requirements gatheringRequirements gathering and analysisUnderstanding of Software Development Life CycleComfortable working in a changing environmentExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsDesirable:Testing experienceProject Management skillProcess Mapping skillsJIRAInvestment / Wealth PlatformsFinancial Services qualificationsBroad IT knowledge/experienceA Business Analysis Qualification, preferably BCSAttributesStrong intellect and analytical ability.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Ability to work in a team and liaise with all parties involved in the change process.Ability to manage workloads.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Methodical and Logical approach to problem solving.Conscientious system user with good attention to detail.Ability to draw out conclusions from Stakeholders involved.Please apply now to find out more. #J-18808-Ljbffr
