This role is instrumental in identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and developing strategic sales plans to drive revenue across multiple sectors, including residential, commercial, and logistics.If you thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment and want to be at the forefront of the future of parcel management, we’d love to hear from youKey ResponsibilitiesAs a Business Development Manager at The Safety Letterbox Company, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and establishing myRENZbox as the leading smart parcel solution.Sales and Strategy Development:Proactively drive sales of myRENZbox, targeting key sectors such as New Build, Retrofit Residential, and Commercial/Logistics markets.Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve growth across various outreach channels (email, phone, virtual meetings, in-person visits).Identify and engage with decision-makers (CEOs, MDs, Directors) to generate new business opportunities.Support the expansion of our dedicated sales and aftersales team.Relationship Building and Client Management:Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients, acting as the main point of contact for high-level stakeholders.Follow up on quotations and leads, ensuring a high conversion rate from enquiries to sales orders.Deliver outstanding customer service and after-sales support to drive client satisfaction and retention.CRM and Reporting:Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM systems, tracking customer interactions, quotes, orders, and opportunities.Provide monthly reports on KPIs, sales metrics, and customer insights to senior management.Analyse market trends to inform sales strategies and tailor approaches to specific industries.Internal Collaboration:Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to drive business development initiatives.Support marketing campaigns and contribute to promotional materials such as presentations and brochures.Assist in developing sales processes to enhance the customer acquisition journey.Collaborate with RENZ Group companies, particularly RENZ Germany, to manage international parcel box sales.Customer Education and Presentations:Conduct engaging online and in-person meetings with clients to demonstrate the benefits of myRENZbox.Lead product presentations and support CPD (Continuing Professional Development) sessions.Person SpecificationWe are looking for a highly motivated, sales-driven individual with a passion for business development and innovation.Skills & Abilities:Professional approach to representing a market leader in parcel management solutions.Proven sales and business development experience (minimum 5 years), ideally within the built environment, construction, or tech industries.Ability to engage with senior-level decision-makers, build rapport, and present complex solutions.Strong relationship management skills, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.Experience using CRM systems (Odoo, Salesforce, or similar) to manage sales pipelines and reporting.Ability to work independently and adapt to changing business priorities in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of logistics, parcel management, and smart technology solutions is highly desirable.Experience working with cloud-based management systems and API integrations (desirable but not essential).Job Information:Monday to Friday9am to 5pmBased at our Neath office in Milland Road, SA11 1NJThis is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin or advance their career in finance while contributing to the success of a market-leading company. #J-18808-Ljbffr
