Care Support Worker - Ward D1 Gastroenterology Join to apply for the Care Support Worker - Ward D1 Gastroenterology role at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust. We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team on Ward D1. D1 is a 25‑bedded ward which specialises in the care of patients who have gastroenterology conditions. We have a strong ethos for staff development and learning, and a supportive consultant body and multidisciplinary team. The ward is very busy, so a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care is required. You must be able to provide high‑quality, compassionate care, ensuring an efficient service is delivered. We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated people with a caring nature, good communication skills, and a willingness to learn and develop. Key Responsibilities Deliver fundamental care to patients, including assisting with personal hygiene and toileting needs, feeding, and mobility. Work closely with the nursing team to provide high-quality, compassionate care and maintain efficient service delivery. Contribute to the team approach to risk avoidance and provision of highest quality care. Qualifications and Experience Entry‑level experience in a care setting; prior experience is an advantage. Demonstrated commitment to patient care and teamwork. Strong communication abilities and willingness to learn and develop.
