About the School of Art and Creative IndustriesThe School of Art and Creative Industries is the oldest art school in England outside London, with 200 years of history. It offers cutting‑edge programmes across art, design, and screen disciplines, and the Journalism Department has an international reputation for excellence in both undergraduate and postgraduate studies. What We’re Looking For We seek an enthusiastic and talented Teaching Fellow to join our journalism and sports journalism programmes. The ideal candidate will: Have substantial teaching experience in journalism or sports journalism, or significant professional experience as a practising journalist with a proven track record of delivering professional training. Demonstrate a strong foundation in journalism coupled with a flair for storytelling. Show a proven commitment to education and industry training. Possess knowledge of NCTJ standards and/or expertise in social media storytelling (highly desirable). Be able to share expertise, shape innovative learning experiences, and support students in a fast‑evolving media landscape.
