An opportunity has become available for an experienced Staff QA Engineering with substantial expertise in quality transformation and test automation across web, mobile, and API platforms. This role requires someone who excels at building and managing high‑performing teams while driving technical excellence. Join us as we mature our quality engineering practices for global scale. This strategic role offers complete autonomy from sprint work to build robust quality frameworks that support our international expansion. You'll transform existing initiatives into scalable systems while introducing modern testing practices and tools across our engineering organisation. Key Responsibilities Quality Architecture & Strategy Design and implement enterprise‑scale test management solutions Build frameworks that support our global expansion and multi‑language requirements Establish quality metrics and KPIs that drive continuous improvement Create sustainable automation strategies that scale with our growth Define quality gates and risk assessment frameworks for releases Technical Leadership Optimise test execution performance and reduce feedback cycle times Improve test stability and reliability across our automation suite Implement modern testing practices, including AI‑augmented approaches Design solutions for performance testing at scale (150K+ concurrent users) Build observability into our quality processes for proactive issue detection Organisational Enablement Drive adoption of quality tools and practices across engineering teams Transform our test assets into reusable, maintainable frameworks Partner with engineering teams to embed quality throughout the SDLC Mentor engineers on testing best practices and automation Champion accessibility and internationalisation testing standards Technologies You'll Work With Languages: PHP, React, React Native, Python Testing: Cypress, PyTest, JMeter, Maestro, BrowserStack Observability: Datadog, New Relic, Test Observability platforms Infrastructure: Docker, AWS, CI/CD pipelines Scale: 150K concurrent users, millions of daily transactions Skills, Knowledge and Expertise 5+ years in quality engineering with 3+ years at Staff/Principal level Proven expertise in building and scaling test automation frameworks Strong experience with performance testing and monitoring Track record of driving quality transformation in growing organisations Experience with global platforms requiring multi‑language support Background in modern testing practices and tools What We're Looking For Strategic thinker who can balance long‑term vision with pragmatic delivery Someone who thrives on bringing order to complexity Experience improving test reliability and reducing execution times Ability to influence without authority across engineering teams Passion for quality as an enabler of business success Interest in emerging practices like AI in testing What We Offer Opportunity to drive quality transformation in a rapidly growing global organisation Collaborative and innovative work environment Focus on continuous learning and development Competitive compensation and benefits package Hybrid working model Interview process Online interview with the Senior Talent Partner and the Head of QA Technical interview with the Head of QA and Global Director of Engineering Be comfortable.
