About the Business Unit Mott MacDonald’s Advisory and Programme Delivery (APD) unit delivers both project, programme & commercial management (PPCM) services and advisory solutions across the built environment, defence, energy, water, environmental, transportation, health and care sectors. Overview of the Role You will lead the delivery of advisory projects, providing end-to-end trusted advice to support our clients in areas such as asset management investment planning, asset management strategies, risk management, information management, reliability‑centred maintenance and data analytics. You will play a vital role in growing the business, connecting with clients and colleagues alike to create opportunities. Candidate Specification Relevant delivery experience in management consultancy or asset management. Good technical knowledge of a range of Asset Management capabilities. Strong understanding of tools and techniques. Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture, Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), or Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Experience of developing asset management capabilities within organisations and maturing the organisational approach to asset management. Recent experience in an Infrastructure or Engineering sector and ideally strategy‑focused and/or operational roles. Strong delivery skills and project management experience. Eagerness to develop new skills and commit to further expanding your knowledge within different areas of asset management. Ability to lead projects and manage a team of consultants. Creative problem‑solving skills and ability to diagnose issues and develop tailored solutions. Institute of Asset Management certificate or diploma are desirable. The home office locations would ideally be London, however we would consider candidates able to be based at Birmingham, Manchester, Cambridge or Leeds. In addition periods of travel are expected to be able to support the UK (and on rare occasions international) business.
